After the Dance Auditions

After the Dance is Terrence Rattigan’s hilarious, heart-breaking attack on the lifestyles of the ‘bright young things’. Set in 1938, in the Fowler-Scott’s Mayfair flat, it explores ageing, relationships and our capacity for change. Taking in the extravagant world of the raucously rich, it is an engaging and enjoyable play for audiences and actors.

We are casting 13 principal actors to fully flesh out this tragic and savagely funny world. All roles get a moment to shine and we are excited to get to work exploring this sparkling dialogue. In addition to principal roles, we need a number of non-speaking party guests - ideal for those new to acting and people who can’t commit the time to a big role.

Recalls will be taking place on the morning of Saturday 15th December and an all cast read through will be taking place on the evening of Monday 17th December so please ensure you are able to make both of these should you be cast. Rehearsals will start in early January ahead of the show which will be taking place the week 8th-14th April.

We are very open-minded about casting and encourage you to audition no matter your previous experience. We look forward to seeing you!
